What's up down here.

As usual, I've been slow with the updates here. The laughing baby video has seen over 3500 views which is probably the most popular thing I've ever had on the net. It was on the AOL most popular list for a week, and may still be there now. That's pretty cool.

There is a lot going on here. Christyn is getting married this afternoon and Deb is currently in the kitchen doing "up-doo's" in an assembly line manor. This is going to be a big deal, but thankfully isn't costing us much, other than our own outfits.

We've got a gentlemans agreement to buy a house in Columbus. I'm torn on this one because it's a great house in a nice neighborhood and the end of a dead-end street....but it's in a sub-division. We are getting a great price because the people tried to do a "for sale by owner" and couldn't get it sold, so they've been paying a couple of months for two house notes...that's got to hurt. There is no doubt that I can do like the DIY channel says and "Flip This House" thus making some money. We've already got it worked out with them to get in and do some painting and the like before move in at the end of the month. No matter what it's better than renting again. My little tractor is going to be useless though, so it may have to go north to do some yard mowing duty until I'm in a place where I need it again. At least I know there it will be taken care of and not out in the elements.

Anyhow, that's the latest from here. I should have some wedding pictures along with some house pictures this week. Oh, and this quarter in school I'm doing a double class....heat treating and surface grinder.

Have a nice day.

It's great to read an entry, and even greater to know you are about to become home-owners!

Oh, and by the way:  Cliff HATES the trip down there, but I promise you that if you get that deal done we will be down to see your home sweet home.  Mark my words.  (And don't tell  Cliff I said that.)

That's great news!  I'm happy for you.  Think about what there is for tourists in Columbus, since I'm trying to plan a low-budget vacation for the family next spring. No, we won't impose.  Hotel is fine, but you may be stuck feeding us a time or two.  LOL
